I tested the calendar notification functionality on our test site and it works for me.
I can recommend you to check your e-mail address, which you enter, to which notifications will come.

We also recommend checking in the admin panel of the site whether the e-mail credentials are configured correctly if you are the site administrator or contact the site administrator to check it.
